Organization overview

Yemen Research, formally the Yemen Organization for Scientific and Technological Research (YOSTR), is an independent non-profit organization established to serve scientific and academic research. The organization follows laws and regulations of similar scientific organizations around the world and has no relationship with activities outside this framework.

Mission

Effective participation and contribution in developing a scientific research environment that serves Yemeni researchers in the fields of science and technology inside and outside Yemen.

Vision

Uplifting scientific research and researchers at the local and international level.

Objectives

    Establish a culture of scientific research in the community and raise awareness of its importance and contributions to society.

    Pay attention to local community problems and direct research to participate in solving them.

    Seek support to finance research projects and activities from relevant organizations, in accordance with established and reliable regulations and frameworks.

    Help researchers reach and use specialized scientific periodicals and journals.

    Establish research relationships and agreements with similar bodies and organizations around the world.

    Encourage innovation and creativity in science and technology research fields.

    Create a database for members and other researchers to introduce and highlight research contributions.
